Customer Configuration

This page is a reference for the lists that organise customers and route their work. For the data protection categories that customers belong to, see Customer Classes.

A customer status shows where an account stands, such as Active, Suspended or Ceased. The status controls whether the customer can use services and how they are billed, and every change is tracked for a clear account history. For example, an Ex-Customer status stops billing without needing a dropped date.
