Commission Profiles

A commission profile defines how a sales agent or dealer earns commission. It sets the calculation method, the rates, and any target-based bonuses, so commission works out consistently.

Commission profiles take the guesswork out of paying agents and dealers. A profile can handle:

  • Percentage commission: a share of the revenue
  • Fixed amounts: a set amount per sale
  • Tiered structures: rates that change when targets are met

Once set up, a profile drives the figures in the Commission Report and Commission Targets Report.

  • Commission Profile Values hold the rates and any tier or target settings that decide how much is earned.
  1. Open the Commission Profiles list.
  2. Click “Add Commission Profile”.
  3. Choose the calculation method and set the rates and any targets.
  4. Save.

Link the profile to the agent or dealer it covers. Their commission is then worked out against the profile’s rules.

  • Permission: Users need the Commission Profiles permission to view or edit profiles.
