Commission Profiles
A commission profile defines how a sales agent or dealer earns commission. It sets the calculation method, the rates, and any target-based bonuses, so commission works out consistently.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Commission profiles take the guesswork out of paying agents and dealers. A profile can handle:
- Percentage commission: a share of the revenue
- Fixed amounts: a set amount per sale
- Tiered structures: rates that change when targets are met
Once set up, a profile drives the figures in the Commission Report and Commission Targets Report.
Key Fields

Section titled “Commission Profile Details”Basic information about the commission profile including its name and which transaction sources it applies to.

Commission Profile Values

System Information

- Commission Profile Values hold the rates and any tier or target settings that decide how much is earned.
Managing Commission Profiles
Section titled “Managing Commission Profiles”Adding a Profile
Section titled “Adding a Profile”- Open the Commission Profiles list.
- Click “Add Commission Profile”.
- Choose the calculation method and set the rates and any targets.
- Save.
Applying a Profile
Section titled “Applying a Profile”Link the profile to the agent or dealer it covers. Their commission is then worked out against the profile’s rules.
Access
Section titled “Access”- Permission: Users need the Commission Profiles permission to view or edit profiles.
