CDR Processing
Overview
Section titled “Overview”CDRs (Call Detail Records) are the usage records used to calculate call charges. Correct CDR supply and matching are essential for accurate invoicing.
How to supply your CDRs
Section titled “How to supply your CDRs”You have two choices: let the platform receive the files, or upload them yourself. Either way works, so pick whichever suits each supplier.
Let the platform receive them:
- FTP collection - if your supplier offers an FTP site, the platform can collect files automatically.
- Email - your supplier (or you) can email the files in, and the platform processes them on arrival.
Upload them yourself:
- Single file - upload one CDR file through your web browser.
- Bundle - upload many files at once inside a single archive (zip, rar, 7z or gz), handy when files are too large to email.
For step-by-step instructions on each method, see Supply Files. That page also covers checking which files have arrived and handling duplicates.
